In October 2001, Agrosol’s coffee was classified as the twelfth best brand out of a group of 375 participants in the “Brazilian Coffee Quality Competition 2001”, an event organized by BSCA (Brazil Specialty Coffee Association) with the support of SCAA (Specialty Coffee Association of America) and SCAE (Specialty Coffee Association of Europe). Agrosol’s coffee has also been awarded the “Cup of Excellence” and the right to take part of the exclusive “Cup of Excellence” international auction by an international jury composed of 24 experts from 12 different countries who stand out in the international specialty coffee market.

At the referred auction, which took place on 11/27/01, the awarded coffee
beans from Sol do Paraguassu Farm was purchased by Caravan Coffee. Ltd for
the price of US$376,91 per bag.

The Sol do Paraguassú Farm´s coffee hás recently been classified among the 50 finalists in the “Brazilian Coffee Quality 11th Prize”, an event organized by Illycaffé in which 586 Brazilian coffee producers participated. During the event, the Illycaffé awarded AGROSOL (Sol do Paraguassú Farm) the State of Bahia Champion Prize. Moreover, the state governament gave to AGROSOL the title of “Emeritus Producer” for its coffee production.
